[GRUPOMINISTERIOMUJER]GOD´S ELECTION

When we begin to serve our God, questions come up to our mind such as: Why has God chosen me? What did I do for being before Him? Or you just see your limitations or your lack of ability and you think He can´t use you. But God election doesn´t depend on whether you may do anything or not, his election depends on only Him and his power manifested in your life, He wants from you faith and obedience, a total surrender from you toward Him; so He may work in your life and you may do his will here in the earth. The God´s election is a Bible study focus on men and women that were used by God for fulfilling his purposes.

GOD´S ELECTION

Have you ever wonder, Why Did God chose me? What did I do for being before Him? These or many other questions maybe you wondered once to yourself.

Now I want to tell you about the non-repentance calling of God, when He called you unto his service (Romans11: 29). Did you know God doesn´t sees your age, your social status or culture, nor even your condition where you are now in, He simply chose you because he was pleased with you (1Chronicles 28:4; Mark 3:13).

In the Bible we find some stories about ladies that were chosen by God in order to carry on his plans, so we can tell about Shiphrah y Puah, the midwives who helped to bring or to give birth to life the male babies (Exodus 1:15-17); Jochebed (Exodus 6:20) Moses´ mother who in spite of the threats of the king of Egypt, watched over her son for three months (Exodus 2:2-3, Hebrews 11:23); Pharaoh´s daughter had mercy on the baby that found at the river and adopted him as hers (Exodus 2:5-10); Rahab, a harlot that hid in her house two of the sent Joshua´s spies (Joshua 2:1-6) and in 2 Samuel 17:18-21, is told the story of a woman that hid two priests that were looking for king David. No one of them set their eyes in their limitations or fears, they made the choice to do the right thing and trusted God.

When Jeremiah the prophet was called, God told him that he was chosen even before he was born and was set apart to speak in his name unto all the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Even before Jacob and Esau were born, God already said the older would be a servant to the younger (Romans 9:12). For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that called (Romans 9:11).

When David spoke about his election said: «Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel» (1 Chronicles 28:4). So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy (Romans 9:16). When Paul wrote to Timothy he told him they were saved and called with a holy calling according to the purpose and grace of God, given to us in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 1:9).

Perhaps you wonder. What is God´s election purpose? In Romans 9:17 says: «Even for this same purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth». It´s the same Jesus said to his disciples «Go into all the world and preach the gospel and these signs will follow to those who believe, for all power is been given to me in heaven and the earth, therefore go into all the world and make disciples». (Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 28:18). In these Scriptures we find the purpose of God´s election:

1) He´s chosen you to declare his name throughout the earth and
2) To show through you his power.
The apostle Paul used to say that he doesn´t preach with any persuasive words of human wisdom, but with the demonstration of the Spirit and power, so faith is not based upon wisdom of men, but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).

Now that you know why God´s chosen you, you have to ask yourself. How does God back up his election? Like Jeremiah and Moses; they saw themselves before God and incapable of even talking in His name to people he sent them to (Jeremiah 1:8-9 and Exodus 4:11-12). Jeremiah was too young and was scared, Moses was old, and stammered while speaking and was also scared. Both of them see themselves lacking of words, incapable of being able to accept and fulfil God´s election, He told them fear not, I am with you, and lo my words are being put in your mouths.

Jesus taught his followers that He was about to leave them alone (John 14:18), and told them the Holy Spirit was about to be with them and live in them (John 14: 17) and He was going to teach them all things, likewise how to remember all He did (John 14:26), because the anointing of the Holy One dwells in you and the same anointing teach us all things (1 John 2:20 y 27). If God´s chosen you, He will be with you and shall have the message in your mouth.

The same way God rested from all his works, there is also a rest for God´s elected ones, in Hebrews 4:3 says: «For we who have believed do enter in the rest». This rest is given when you believe God and make the decision to accept his will and you put yourself into his hands; so that He may start working in you ? it´s about acknowledging and accepting that God´s called you into a ministry. Meanwhile you decide not to believe God´s calling you, you will not find a rest; and his Word permanently is going to enter into you, and will divide your souls and spirit (Hebrews 4:12) until the moment you decide to believe God and accept the ministry He gives you.

God´s chosen you, you have to believe and accept his election, because He´s chosen you to accomplish his plans. Other keys are found in Jeremiah 1:7-10 and Ephesians 6:10-11.

After accepting His election you have to obey him ? do all He commands you to do (Jeremiah 1:7), maybe you´ll find difficulties and here is where Paul give us another key: «be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his mightand put on the whole armour of God» (Ephesians 6:10-11).

Finally you have to start to execute your empowerment of authority and power (anointing) that God gave you to carry on his plans (Jeremiah 1:10). Peter and John knew why they were chosen, when they find the lame man at the gate of the temple, Peter said: «Silver and gold have I none, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk». (Acts 3:1-6).

God´s election doesn´t see your limitations; but men and women do; Jeremiah said he was too young (Jeremiah 1:6), Moses said he wasn´t able to talk well (Exodus 4:11), Isaiah said he was a sinner (Isaiah 6: 5); Sarah said: My husband and me are grown old, How are we going to have a child? (Genesis 18:12-13); Martha, after confessing Christ as her Lord, the Son of God and that He was able to rise people from the dead (John 11:25-27), said: Let the stone be taken not, he´s about fours days buried and already stinks (John 11:39).

To each people God answered:

– He said to Jeremiah: «Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with you to deliver you» (Jeremiah 1:7-8).

– He said to Moses: Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? And now go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say (Exodus 4:11-12).
– He said to Isaiah: «Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.» (Isaiah 6:7).
– He said to Sarah: «Is any thing too hard for the Lord?» (Genesis 18:14).
– He said to Martha: «Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?»(John 11:40).

When God call you He is in charge of you, no limitations may be able to apart you from His purposes, and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask(Ephesians 3:20). We don´t even can image what God can do to help us with his power! (Give A Bible To Everyone).

WOMAN:

Maybe you thought you were not the right person to fulfil God´s plans, your eyes were fixed in the things you were not able to do or in the things you lacked to develop, but God´s election doesn´t count your limitations. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. (Isaiah 41:9).

Woman; God wants to be glorified in you, to bless your life and of others. Accept his election and put yourself into God´s hands, trust Him and He shall accomplish. Because the One who sent you, is with you and will not leave you. (John 8:29).
