BIBLE MEDITATION: ?And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.? 1 Peter 4:8

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Why is love so important? First, because love is the greatest virtue. First Corinthians 13:13 tells us that love supercedes faith and hope. Second, because love is the greatest command. Jesus said, ?Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind? (Matthew 22:37). Third, love is the greatest testimony. What is really going to make your community wake up and believe that your church is really the church of the Lord Jesus Christ? The size of your building? The way your lawn looksí The signage at the street? No. The way you love God and show love to others. Nothing can motivate a lost sinner like the heartfelt love of Jesus Christ.

ACTION POINT: Make a commitment to God right now, that you will seek to love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. Ask for His strength to do this. Anything less is sin.
