BIBLE MEDITATION: ¿Dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.? 2 Corinthians 7:1

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Satan tricks many people today by making them think they will become a religious fanatic if they live a holy life. They want to see how close to the world they can live. They do not necessarily want to drink, but they will go to a pub, sit with their friends, and sip ginger ale so no one will know the difference. Why can?t they just go ahead and be holy? Why don?t they just take a stand for Jesus Christ? I believe that Jesus would rather have us on the wrong side of the fence than sitting on the fence! He says so in Revelation 3:15-16, ?I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth.?

ACTION POINT: Open yourself to accountability. Ask God to lead you to a Christian with whom you can be accountable for the places you go, the people you spend time with, the way you spend your money. Enter into a covenant with that person to cleanse yourselves from ?all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.?
